Safety symbols and signal words, as shown below, are used to emphasize all operator, maintenance and repair
actions which, if not strictly followed, could result in a life-threatening situation, bodily injury or damage to equipment.

hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible

WARNING
Do not operate the breaker unless the
following safety instructions have been
thoroughly read and understood! Read this
manual before installing, operating or
maintaining this equipment.
• A flying projectile from the breaker, breaker
tool, rock or other material may enter the
operator's compartment and cause serious
or fatal injury to the operator. Personal
protection equipment must be used.
• A flying projectile from the breaker, breaker
tool, rock or other material may cause
serious or fatal injury to bystanders. Never
operate the breaker when bystanders are in
the work area.
• On some machines/carriers, the breaker
can enter the operator's compartment if it
breaks loose and swings toward the
operator. Make sure that suitable impact
shields are used when operating the
breaker with this type of equipment.
• Do not operate the breaker unless all safety
decals described in this manual are in
place. The decals must be inspected
periodically to ensure that all wording is
legible. The decals must be replaced if
illegible. Replacement decals can be
obtained from your authorized Stanley
Distributor.
• When operating the breaker you must use
ear protection, eye protection, and
breathing protection.
