For the safety of children and pets, always
move the power switch to OFF\O, remove
the red lockout key and unplug the shredder
when it is unattended or not in use.
CLEARING A JAM:
Shredder will automatically stop and the power
indicator

will flash when a jam occurs.
To clear jam:
±
If shredder jams while in forward (AUTO),
move switch
(3)
to reverse (REV) position.
Grasp excess paper and pull out.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Be careful not to place your hands near
the feed opening to prevent any injuries.

If the shredder jams while in reverse (REV),
move switch
(3)
to forward (AUTO) position
and let shredder run for about five seconds.
If jam does not clear, move switch
(3)
to
REV position and run for five seconds.
Repeat this procedure until jam is cleared.
If the jam cannot be cleared following this
procedure, unplug the unit and carefully
remove the jammed paper manually.
OVERHEATING
The overheat light
(9)
will flash to signal the
shredder has shred continuously beyond the
maximum running time of 6 minutes and the unit
will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit and
wait about 90 minutes. Plug the unit back into
a grounded electrical outlet and resume normal
operation.
Make sure to periodically empty the paper bin
to avoid overloading the bin and damaging the
cutting mechanism.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Shredder lubricants are recommended for your
shredder and will lengthen the lifespan of your
machine. Apply lubricants after 30 minutes of
shredding or a minimum of twice per month to
eliminate build-up on your shredder’s cutting
heads and allow your machine to run at
maximum performance.
