4.17. Virtual TCP/IP Ports <TSP100LAN / TSP100IIIW / TSP100IIILAN Only>
By setting up virtual TCP/IP ports, you make it possible for your applications to directly designate
TCP/IP sockets.
Virtual ports are registered under the operating mode under which they are
generated. Virtual ports created under Star Line mode are registered as Star Line
ports; those created under ESC/POS mode are registered as ESC/POS ports.
Note that Star Line mode and ESC/POS mode cannot use identical port numbers.
Notes:
To direct output to the virtual port, the application must designate both the IP address
(for the PC on which this software is installed) and the corresponding port number (as
added above).
