1.  Please use a motherboard with SATA II (3.0 GHz) interface to enhance compatibility and transmission efficiency.

2.  PCI-X SATA II and PCI-E SATA II are available on the STARDOM web site for customers who do not have the SATA II 

 

interface on their motherboards or are in need of high-speed data transmission.

3.  Please purchase an interface card supporting at least 4Ports SATA II (3.0 GHz) .

4.  As for the installation of connecting wires, please use eSATA connecting wires and SATA bracket which are in the 

 

accessory package and abiding by SATA using standard.

Hardware Installation Procedure

 

.Carefully push the removable tray into the slot and push the handle back into place as

 

 

 shown in Figure 4.

a.Connect one end of the eSATA II bracket-to-SATA cable to the SATA interface on the

 

 

  motherboard or another SATA II card (Note 1) and connect the other end of the eSATA

 

 

  II bracket-to-SATA cable to the eSATA port on the ST5610. Make sure the screws on 

 

 

  the bracket are fastened and the eSATA connector is secured as shown in Figure 5.

   

b.After ensuring the device is installed successfully, power on the ST5610 first and then

 

 

  turn on the PC when the ST5610 runs normally.
