PREFACE
Congratulations to buying the Epsilon Competition V3!
The Epsilon XL V3 is the biggest model of the po-
pular Epsilon-family. The concept and the value you
get for the money brings joy to every sailplane en-
thusiast.
The fuselage is made of painted fiberglass and in-
cludes an all moving tail plane, the wing is a obechi
sheeted foam wing completely covered with genui-
ne Oracover film. Both, fuselage and wings are rein-
forced with carbon fiber.
The model can be purchased as PNP or ARF version.
The PNP version includes a built-in motor, servos,
cable set and a wing lock system. The motor of the
PNP version is a Himax 4260 with 570 kv. The Spin-
ner and propeller is also included in the PNP version.
In this manual some build steps are only necessary
to do when building the ARF version. You can find
these steps by looking out for the mark “ARF version
only”.
