6.9 Preparing the workpiece
The assembly parameters stored in the machine apply
solely to the use of an original STAUFF cutting ring FI-DS-..
in combination with the selected tube material and the
original STAUFF union nut.
Use reinforcing sleeves for thin-walled tubes in
accordance with the STAUFF Connect product
catalogue!
How to prepare the workpiece for assembly:
1. Ensure that …

assembly preparation in the assembly instructions of the
STAUFF Connect product catalogue. Refer to the chapter
Machine-controlled assembly of cutting ring fittings
in the
STAUFF Connect product catalogue.
the job has been set up as described in chapter 6.8, p. 41.
2. Slip the union nut and cutting ring onto the tube end one after
the other.
