Getting started
∙
Unwind the cable.
∙
Connect the device in accordance to the rating label, the control dial shines in
green.
∙
At the initial heating, the device can smoke slightly. After a few minutes the smoke
clears away.
∙
Preheat the device to maximum thermostat setting, the red light shines.
∙
You have reached the optimal temperature once the control dial shines in green
again.
∙
According to the recipe, add small quantities of dough on the device.
∙
During the cooking time, the red light will turn off and on again. The thermostat
works.
∙
If the crêpe is ready, remove it with a wooden or plastic spatula only so that the
coating will not get damaged.
∙
When the red light goes out, you can put the next small quantity of dough onto
the device.
∙
The appliance is not suitable for roasting meat.
∙
Unplug after usage.
Basic recipe:
250g flour
4 Eggs
50g melted butter
500ml milk
Salt
Aroma (e.g. rum)
Vanilla sugar
The crepe batter needs a little flour and plenty of fluids. Mix well the milk with the
eggs and the flour. Stir in the melted butter and leave the dough to swell for at least
30 minutes. You need to spread the dough fast and thin on the hot plate by using the
wet wooden spreader.
