∙ After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, al-
ways pull out the plug.
∙ Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze
it.
∙ Keep the power supply cord away from hot parts.
∙ Never leave the appliance unattended when operating.
∙ Do not put anything on the apliance.
∙ Do not leave the apliance outdoors or in a damp area.
∙ Never immerse the appliance in water.
∙ Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if it
felt down).
∙ The manufacturer is not liable for damage occurred by using
the apliance in another way than described or if a mistake in
operating has been made.
∙ To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord,
should only be carried out by customer service.
∙ When using a powercord extension it is important that children
are not pulling at it or a trip hazard occurs.
∙ The appliance must always be unplugged in case of no supervi-
sion, prior to assembly, the dismantling or cleaning.
Cleaning
∙ Unplug the appliance always before cleaning.
∙ Never immerse the motor base into water. Danger of electrical
shock!
∙ The holding cap for the fruit halves can be removed by gently
pressing the black button on the lever-arm. Remove all other
parts such as juice cone, filter insert and drip tray and clean
everything in light soapy water and let dry thoroughly.
∙ Take care that the juice cone are cleaned from bellow, too, and
that the sieve openings are cleaned completely, too.
∙ The motor base should be wiped with a damp cloth.
