4.2.1 Function
Solar thermal controller
The solar thermal controller (subsequently referred to as the controller) periodically sends the following
measurement data to the IFA router:
• Current temperature of the solar system
• Instantaneous power, energy balances and CO
2
savings (only when the
heat quantity
function and
additional calorimetry system are installed)
• System pressure (only when the
System pressure monitoring
function and additional sensors are
installed)
IFA router
The IFA router uses the data to create a corresponding system image showing the measurements
(Fig. 2, p. 36) and a temperature diagram (Fig. 3) and transmits this to an Internet server.
The IFA router is equipped with special firmware for the operating system and application software.
This invalidates the original operating manual for the TL-MR3220. The technical data, approvals and
certifications of the IFA router remain valid.
Server
The server archives the data and generates graphics that can be displayed in the browser of a PC with
an Internet connection. Server access is password-protected.
