Displaying data locally using the media player
The IFA router can send the graphics via the LAN and WLAN interfaces to a WLAN capable media
player, such as (e.g.) the
Asus O!Play Air
. The following section uses the
Asus O!Play Air
as an example
for describing the media player configuration process to allow the graphics from the IFA router to be
displayed as a slideshow at the outputs of this media player.
Notices
The following description assumes the following:
• You have connected the power supply of the media player according to the operating instructions
of the media player,
• you have connected a display device to the media player (monitor, TV, projector) and that the oper-
ating interface of the media player – in particular the main menu – is visible on the display device,
• you are familiar with the use of the media player remote control,
• you have connected the media player to the IFA router via LAN or WLAN. Notes on this:

• you define the basic settings for the slideshow from within the media player, e.g. the display dura-
tion of the images.
You configure the media player as follows
