Pool wall cut out (Fig. 2)
You should make the pool wall cut out for the skimmer and the inlet
nozzle before fi tting the liner. The cut-out should be de-burred with a fi le
and also treated with anti-corrosion paint. As an additional protection we
recommend covering the edges with insulation tape.
Assembly of the inlet nozzle and the skimmer
Fill the swimming pool up to 5 cm below the cut-out for the inlet nozzle.
Mark off the circle on the pool wall and mack a cross-cut with a sharp
knife, without going beyond the cut-out. Push the inlet nozzle with a
seal from the inside to the outside. Fig.4) Attach the infl ow nozzle on the
outer side with the plastic nut Tighten the inlet nozzle fully, but do not
over-tighten. (Fig. 5)
Please note:
If your inlet nozzle is equipped with a pump connection fi tting, the thread
must be sealed with Tefl on tape!
Once you have fi tted the inlet nozzle, fi ll your swimming pool up to 5cm
below the skimmer.
First push the skimmer cover into the skimmer housing (Number 6 in
illustration 1) Then pass the lip seal (Number 7 in drawing 1) over the
steel shell.
Mark the fi rst two holes in the liner and punch these through with a
sharp point. Push the two screws with the skimmer fl ange from the insi-
de through the liner and attach these to the skimmer housing. (Fig. 3)
Now push the remaining screws through and attach these in the order
shown in fi g. 7. Be careful to ensure that the skimmer seals are moun-
ted evenly on all sides. Tighten the screws diagonally and evenly, to
ensure a secure seal.
The screws must only be tightened by hand to ensure they are not
over-tightened. Next, cut out the square of liner inside the skimmer
fl ange with a sharp knife.
Please note:
If your inlet nozzle is equipped with a pump connection
fi tting, the thread must be sealed with Tefl on tape!
Attaching the connector hoses
The connector (out) hose attached to the skimmer is attached directly
(vacuum side, on the front) to the fi lter pump. The connector hose
leaving the inlet nozzle is attached to the connection on the fi lter tank
switch valve (to the pool or return).
Use
The water level in your skimmer should always be around the middle
of the skimmer to max 1cm. underneath the upper inner edge of the
skimmer fl ange. This guarantees that your pool always supplies enough
water to your fi lter unit. Check that the skimmer cover moves freely, and
clean the skimmer basket when required or at least once
a week.
The suction plate included allows connection to a fl oor vacuum cleaner.
It is important that is completely fi lled with water. Before connecting the
fl oor vacuum cleaner, we recommend switching off the fi lter pump, so
that air does not get into the fi lter system.
Important Note
Care in winter
In the winter months it is vital that the level of swimming pool is below
the lowest element, generally the skimmer and the inlet nozzle, so
that these parts can never freeze. The connection hoses should be
disconnected and the fi lter unit stored away for winter.
Fixed pipes should be emptied.
Cleaning
Use conventional cleaning products. Do not use solvent-based or abra-
sive cleaning agents/tools, i.e. no hard sponges, brushes etc..

The product must be thoroughly dried after cleaning. After which, it is to
be stored in a dry location protected from frost (5-8°C).
