3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out
of the reach of children and persons with limited mental
and sensory functions.. The power cord connected to the
appliance must be properly grounded and correspond to
the technical details on the product label.
3.3. DEVICE USE
NOTE
: Before using the device, make sure that it is properly
levelled.
CAUTION: Before starting the weight, remove all objects
from the scale.
3.3.1 USTARTING THE DEVICE.
1.
Set the switch in the „I“ or „0“ position to turn the
device on or off.
3.3.2 DISPLAY BACKLIGHT
1.
Automatic mode
a) Press the button
, the display will show
„CEntr“
b) Press the button , the display will show „AutO“
c) Place the load on the scale pan. From now on the
backlight will start automatically after placing the
load on the scale pan.
2.
Continuous mode
a) Press the button
, the display will show
„CEntr“
b) Press the button , the display will show „On“
c) From now on, the display will be backlit
continuously.
3.
Off-mode
a) Press the button
, the display will show
„CEntr“
b) Press the button , the display will show „OFF“
Caution: The device saves the display settings
also after shutting down the device.
3.3.3 CHANGING THE UNITS

Press the button , the display will show „CEntr“ and
then:
a) Button for „kg“

3.3.4. COUNTING
1.
When the weight of the item is unknown
a) Put the load on the scale pan
b) Enter the number of items placed on the scale
pan
c) Press the button
to compute the weight of
a single item

When the weight of a single item is known
a) Enter the weight of a single item
b) Place the item on the scale pan
c) Press the button
to compute the number of
items
Caution: The more items are placed on the scale
pan, the more accurate the measurement result
is.
Caution: If there is no load on the scale pan and
the display shows the value higher than 0.00,
press the [ZERO] button to reset the scale.
3.3.5. TARING
1.
When the weight of the package is unknown
a) Place the package on the scale pan
b) Press the [TARE] button
2.
Deleting the tare value
a) Take the load off the scale pan, a negative load
message will appear on the display.
b) Press the [TARE] button, the display will show 0.00
again.
3.
When the weight of the package is known
a) Make sure that there is no load on the scale pan
and the display shows 0.00.
• enter the value of the package weight.
• press the [TARE] button, the display will show
a negative value of the package weight.
b) When there is a package and a load on the scale
pan
• the scale will show the total weight.
• enter the weight of a single item or the number of
items (follow the instructions given in 3.3.4).
• enter the weight of the package.
• press the [TARE] button. The display will show the
weight without the package
• press the [TARE] and [CLR] button to reset the
settings.
3.3.6. SUMMING
1.
Adding the number of items
a) Put the load on the scale pan
b) Proceed in accordance with 3.3.4
c) Press the [M +] button
d) Repeat the steps from point b)
e) Press the [M +] button again
f) The display will show „2“, which means that the
values have been added twice.
g) After adding, remove the load from the scale pan.
h) Press the [M +] button to check the total weight,
the number of items and the number of adding
attempts.
i) Press the [MC] and [CLR] button to reset the
measurement history.
2.
Adding the weights
a) Place a load No. 1 on the scale pan.

3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is intended for measuring the weight and the
number of objects arranged on the device‘s scale. The
device is intended to perform mass and/or price control
measurements and readings of elements placed on the scale.
Caution! The device cannot be used for commercial
settlements
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.

The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not overload the device.
b)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.
c)
Disconnect the device from the power supply
before commencement of adjustment, cleaning and
maintenance. Such a preventive measure reduces
the risk of accidental activation.
d)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
e)
Keep the device in perfect technical condition. If
damage is discovered, hand over the device for
repair before use.
f)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
g)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
h)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
i)
Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the
course of work.
j)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
k)
The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
l)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
m) Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
n)
Do not overload the scale. This can damage the load
cells.
o)
Before making a measurement, make sure that the
device is placed on a stable surface and is not exposed
to vibrations and sudden temperature changes,
which may adversely affect the measurement results.
p)
Do NOT leave load on the scale for long. This will
decrease the scale’s accuracy and shorten the load
cell’s life.
q)
Do NOT use the scale in thunder or rain.
r)
Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not place the unit
in direct sunlight or near the air conditioning.
s)
Do not use the scale close to large electrical
appliances such as welding machines or large
motors. Do nnot leave batteries in the device if you
do not use it for a long time.
t)
Avoid places where moisture can lead to
condensation. Avoid direct contact with water.
u)
Do not place the unit close to windows, doors or fans
that may cause unstable results due to air currents.
v)
Keep your machine clean. Do not store products on
the scale when it is not used.
ATTENTION!
Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there
is still a slight risk of accident or injury when using
the device. Stay alert and use common sense when
using the device.
