Re-Stringing Your Guitar
1:
To remove strings, turn the tuning knob counter-clock-
wise until the string ball is fully visible and can be re-
moved. Do not loosen beyond this point. Remove the ball
from the tuner jaw (Figure 1). Lift rubber string retainer
and remove string ball at the headpiece end by lifting it
out of the slot. (Figure 2)

To install strings, start
by putting the ball end into
the headpiece first (small
ball on Bass), (Figure 2) THEN drop the other ball into
the tuner jaw. Tighten tuning knob until proper pitch is
achieved. Stretch string and retune. (Figure 1)

The Steinberger R-Trem offers the best of both worlds for guitar players. In the locked
position, the R-Trem acts as a fixed bridge. In the un-locked position, the R-Trem is a fully
floating tremolo.
