You have chosen a high-quality product that
has been manufactured, tested and packed
with the greatest care.
Please familiarise yourself with these instruc-
tions before attempting to install the air quality
sensor because prolonged reliable and trouble-
free operation will only be ensured if it is fitted
properly.

Safety warnings

Disconnect the power supply before
attempting any work on the sensor!
■
The electrical connection lead must be dead
during installation. Therefore, switch off the
power first and use a voltage tester to make
sure the wiring is off circuit.
■
Installing the sensor involves work on the
mains power supply. This work must there-
fore be carried out professionally in accord-
ance with the applicable national wiring
regulations and electrical operating condi-
tions (VDE 0100).
General
For reasons of clarity, these operating instruc-
tions do not provide full details on all product
models and are also unable to cover every
conceivable case of installation, operation or
maintenance. If you require further information
or encounter problems that are not covered in
sufficient detail in the operating instructions,
you may request the advice you need by con-
tacting the address on the back page of these
operating instructions. We also wish to point
out that the contents of these operating in-
structions are not part of any previous or exist-
ing agreement, assurance or legal relationship,
nor are they intended to amend such. Any obli-
gations on the part of STEINEL shall follow
from the relevant purchase contract which also
contains the full set of warranty terms as the
only ones applicable to this product. These
contractual warranty provisions are neither
extended nor limited by the information stated
in these operating instructions.
Skilled personnel
Skilled personnel within the meaning of these
operating instructions are persons who are fa-
miliar with installing, assembling, starting, test-
ing and operating the product and who are in
possession of the qualifications necessary to
carry out their work, e.g. training and instruc-
tion according to safety standards in the main-
tenance and use of appropriate safety equip-
ment and training in First Aid.
