SELECTING ARC IGNITION
This type of setting allows to optimize the SOFT
START Feature
Low (LO):
Low
Medium (ME):
MEDIUM
High (HI):
High
(SKY-MIG 353K,SKY-MIG 353S-453S)
1) Switch ON the machine.
2) Press and hold for 3 seconds the button
FUNCTION – n.7.
3) The led of the burn back function flashes - the
display – n.4 shows bb.
4) Continue to hold, after 3 seconds the displays
shows START “ Str”.
5) After one second the display will show the default
start setting “ME“.
6) With the encoder n.8 select the type of start:
LOW
“Lo”
, MEDIUM
“ME”
, HIGH
“HI”
.
After 3 seconds, the machine will return to the
welding mode, welding can start .
(SKY-MIG 453K, SKY-MIG 553S)
1) Switch ON the machine.
2) Press and hold together for 3 seconds the button
PURGE and INCH
3) The displays show START “Str” and the type of
start selected.
4) Pressing INCH button is possible select the type of
start : LOW “Lo”, MEDIUM “ME”, HIGH “HI”.
After 3 seconds, the machine will return to the
welding mode and it will be possible start to weld .
SETTING WIRE SPEED &
AMP PARAMETERS
(SKY-MIG 453K, SKY-MIG 553S)
Selecting the value of Wire Speed or Amp
parameters.
To select regulation and to display the Wire Speed
and Amp parameters follow these simple instructions:

Switch OFF the machine

Switch ON the machine at the same time
holding the INCH button (9)
-
Hold the INCH button (9) for approximately
2secs. Wire Speed parameter will appear in
display (6)
-
Regulate chosen Wire Speed using
potentiometer (17)
-
To display and regulate Amps use the same
instructions until Amp parameter appears in
display (6)
When switching the machine OFF and then ON, last
parameter setting is stored
