How to use
2. When the temperature stabilizes, apply new
solder to the tip.
3. Apply the solder using the tip on the connections
that you want to join. The solder will melt on the
object.
If you use a wrong type of solder you could damage the device to be soldered.
1. Clean the surface where you’ll make unions.
Temperature calibration
You will need to calibrate the tip’s temperature after tip or heating element replacement.
- Enter to calibration mode by long pressing *.
- Use
▲ or ▼
to adjust temperature.
- You have to use an external thermocouple to take tip’s temperature.
- Select a preset temperature and pair the tip’s temperature with the displayed one.
- The calibration range is +50 ~ -50 °C of the selected temperature.
- Press * to exit calibration mode.
