4. INSTRUCTIONS
Measuring DC/AC voltage
1. Connect the red testing probe to the jack signaled “V/Ω” and the black testing
probe to the jack signaled “COM”. Turn the knob to direct (V) or alternate (V~)
voltage.
2. If appears on screen the reading “1” means that the voltage being measured
exceeds the select range, therefore, choose a higher.
If you don´t know the voltage value to be measured, you should use the
highest rank.
Don`t exceed while measuring voltage 1000 DC and 750 Vrms of AC(~).
If one of the testing probes is not well connected, it will appear a reading between
the ranges 200 mA and 2 V, which is normal. When the reading is zero, the circuit
is propably opened.
