Operation
6.1
General
Before driving on,
always put the lift in its lowest position
to ensure minimal drive-
on height. In this situation a vehicle can be driven on to the lift.
Position the vehicle straight on the lift with the tires completely on the tracks. Engage
the handbrake and the block the wheels. Adjust the tracks only without load. The
tracks can be adjusted to meet the track width of the vehicle.
If the load (weight of the vehicle) it not correctly distributed to the front-end site or
rear-end site of the lift, the overload protection will be activated.
The lifting devices that are not overloaded will continue to raise but after a height
difference of 1 9/16" (40 mm), the "interrupt lifting" control system stops the raising.
If this is happening, lower the lift completely. After repositioning of the vehicle, it is
possible to raise the lift again.
