8. MAINTENANCE
8.1 CLEANING AND SERVICING
DANGER! Risk of injury due to electric shock.
Shutdown the power tool before adjusting, inspecting,
cleaning or storing the product.
WARNING ! Do not handle cutting parts without gloves as
they are sharp and can become hot after use, potentially
causing personal injury.
Cleaning the product : Illustration 5.1
Keep all safety devices, air vents, and motor housing free of debris and dirt. Wipe down the equipment
with a cloth. It is highly suggested that you clean the device after every use. Do not use cleaning agents,
as these can attack the plastic and weaken the structural integrity of the product.
Remove and brush clean the cover plate, chain and chain bar after 1 to 3 hours of use. Clean the area
under the cover plate, the drive sprocket and chain bar assembly using a soft brush. Clean oil outlet with
a clean cloth. Do not place other objects on the chain saw.
