13. GND :
Connect the cable to the vehicle’s chassis (always connect the
ground wire of the Radio/MP3 Player and other devices to the same point.)
Use the same gauge of wire used for the positive battery connection.
15. POWER LED (Blue):
This LED will light up to indicate that the product is
powered up and working.
16. PROTECT LED (Red):
This led will turn on in the following situations:
• Short circuit in the speaker outputs;
• Temperature higher than permitted.
Installing the power cables
To install the power supply, use cables with a
4 AWG
gauge. The positive lead
should come straight from the battery and have with a fuse or protective
breaker within 30 cm of the battery. The negative cable should have the
same gauge as the positive. It should be bolted to the vehicle chassis taking
care to avoid paint and rust that could interfere with the electric current
and cause loss of power and noise in the sound.
USE OF AN AUXILIARY
BATTERY IS RECOMMENDED.
ATTENTION:
The use of an external circuit
breaker or fuse is required, since the
amplifier does not have an internal fuse.
