5.1.7 Installing the external panel

Mount the external panel to protect the wall mount casing
and the appliance against the elements.

Remove the outer plaster protection cover.

Screw the four screw bosses included in the standard deliv-
ery into the plastic bosses of the wall mount casing.

Remove the protective film from the back of the external
panel.

Affix sealing tape flush to the surfaces of the external panel
that touch the wall.

Cut off any protruding sealing tape.

Hook the external panel on to the screw bosses. The external
panel must be tight against the wall. To even out wall clear-
ances, the screw bosses have three grooves for hooking in
the external panel. Spacers are also included in the standard
delivery. The external panel must be installed so that the
sealing tape is compressed to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm.

Pull both external panel bolts down.

Remove the protective film from the external panel.

Use a permanently elastic sealant to seal the joint between
the external panel and the wall.
5.2 Electrical connection
WARNING Electrocution
Only qualified contractors may carry out the connec-
tion in accordance with these instructions. Carry out all
electrical connection and installation work in accordance
with national and regional regulations.
WARNING Electrocution
The connection to the power supply must be in the form
of a permanent connection. Ensure the appliance can be
separated from the power supply by an isolator that dis-
connects all poles with at least 3 mm contact separation.
This requirement can be met by using contactors, circuit
breakers, fuses/MCBs, etc.
WARNING Electrocution
Before working on the electrical installation, disconnect
the circuit from the power supply. Switch off the fuse/
MCB in the distribution board.
Material losses
The specified voltage must match the mains power sup-
ply. Observe the type plate.
Cable type : YR 4 x 0.8 mm²

Remove the plaster protection cover inside the building. If
this causes problems, break out the centre section of the
plaster protection cover.

Use a sharp knife to carefully cut along between the plaster
protection cover and the flange of the wall mount casing.
Avoid damaging the cable to the control unit.

f
Remove a 30 mm length from the cable sheath.
f
f
Strip the cable wires to a length of 10 mm.
