1 Outdoor air filter
2 Extract air filter

Pull the outdoor air filter and the extract air filter downwards
and out of the unit.
Note
To prevent contact with harmful filter residues, package
the dirty filters immediately. Dispose of the filters in ac-
cordance with local regulations.
Note
Ensure that the direction of air flow through the filter is
correct. The filters are marked with an arrow or the words
"Clean Air Side". These marks indicate the installation
position relative to the direction of the air flow.

Slide the filters into the unit so that the arrow or the wording
"Clean Air Side" is facing towards the inside of the unit.

Use the tab on the filter guide to prevent the filters from slid-
ing out.

Close up the unit cover.
f
f
To lock the unit cover, turn the lift and turn latches 180°
clockwise.
f
f
Switch ON the unit at the ON/OFF switch.
f
f
Order new filters in good time or purchase a filter
subscription.

Record the filter checks and filter changes in the ap-
pendix of these instructions.
9.4 Cleaning the outside of the unit
Depending on the level of contamination, we recommend cleaning
the unit at least once a year.

Clean the casing with a damp cloth.
f
f
If installed, clean the supply and extract air grilles.
9.5 Cleaning the inside of the unit
Depending on the level of contamination, we recommend cleaning
the unit at least once a year.
Note
When cleaning the unit, do not change the position of the
sensors or the electrical connecting leads. Do not damage
any components.

Open the appliance cover.
f

Clean the inside walls with a damp cloth.
f
f
If necessary, clean the fans and the heat exchanger with a
vacuum cleaner.

Close up the unit cover.
f
f
To lock the unit cover, turn the lift and turn latches 180°
clockwise.
10. Troubleshooting
WARNING Electrocution
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
carrying out work inside the appliance. Switch the ap-
pliance OFF at the ON/OFF switch. The ON/OFF switch
disconnects the power supply at all poles.
10.1 Messages
The "Alarm" button reports accumulated fault and maintenance
messages by permanently illuminating or flashing red.
To read messages, proceed as follows:

Press the "Alarm" button.

To display the first message, press the "Down"
button.
↓

To display the next message, press the "Down"
button.
Esc
f
f
To switch to the default display, press the "Esc"
button.
If the "Alarm" button is illuminated permanently, this indicates
that there is a fault in one of the units in the pLan network. The
affected unit is shown in the notification list. Call up the unit from
the master programming unit. Display the message.
Acknowledging messages

Keep the "Alarm" button pressed for approx.
2 seconds.
