Maintenance plan as required
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Do not pour acidic cleaning water down the
drain.For more information, refer to the battery
usage instructions.
Battery in open compartment
– Check the battery frame for traces of
sulphate.
– If there is only minimal sulphate build-up,
just wipe the surface with a damp rag.
– If sulphate build-up is heavy, you will need
to take out the battery, jet wash it and clean
the frame.
NOTE
In the event of heavy sulphate build-up
or excessive electrolyte spillage, contact
an authorised dealer or service engineer
immediately.
Accessing the electrical compart-
ment
NOTE
Before doing any work
•
Push the emergency stop switch.
•
Turn off the power switch.
•
Disconnect the battery plug.
CAUTION
Risk of burns.
Brakes, motors, cables, and other electrical com-
ponents may reach very high temperatures.
Open the electrical compartment cover
– Open the battery hood.
