Maintenance
Providing access to maintenance points
Close the battery cover.
– To do this, push down the battery cover
against the pressure of the gas spring until
the locking lever (1) audibly locks (clicks).
– Ensure that the battery cover is closed
correctly.
Opening the engine cover
Open the engine cover.
WARNING
Risk of crushing!
When lifting and closing, limbs could become
trapped.
– Do not reach between covers and chassis.
NOTE
The battery cover must be closed before the
engine cover can be opened.
NOTE
On the cab version with sliding doors, the
sliding doors must be closed.
Open the engine cover.
– To do this, loosen the locking screw (1) by
turning the screw anticlockwise.
– Grasp the bonnet with both hands and lift
the bonnet upwards.
