Operation

Handling the battery

DANGER

– Ensure that the battery cable (arrow) is not

damaged when the carriage is retracted.

WARNING

Risk of crushing!
Do not reach into the battery compartment while the

battery carrier is being operated.

– Press the retraction button until the carriage

has reached its end position.

– Release the switch.

NOTE

If the movement of the carriage is restricted by

obstacles, release the push button.

WARNING

Risk of crushing!
Never reach under the battery to remove obstacles.
– Extend the battery tray again.
– Lift the battery using the crane again, swivel the

battery to the side and remove the obstacle.

NOTE

If the motor protection function has triggered.

The motor protection function is meter-

controlled. After retracting and extending 5

times, the hydraulic carrier is disabled for 60

minutes. The meter is reset when the motor

has been running for less than 5 minutes and

is then not actuated for 15 minutes.
