To close the battery cover, take hold of the
handles (2) and (4) at the same time and
pull down firmly.

Make sure that the battery cover lock en-
gages when you close it.

Lock the battery cover lock (3) using the
key.
–
Lock the quick release clamp (1) with a 1/4
turn in an anti-clockwise direction.
NOTE
The battery cover is only correctly locked if the
top section of the handle (4) closes flush with
the cover.
Replacing the battery

Observe the chapter entitled "Safety regulations
for handling the battery" without fail.
NOTE
The battery can be replaced using the follow-
ing lifting accessories. Observe the relevant
operating instructions.

Preparation
The load capacity of the lifting accessory in
use must at least match the battery weight
(see battery identification plate).
The procedure for replacing a battery does not
differ depending on the lifting accessory selec-
ted.

Check the load capacity of the lifting acces-
sory.
–
Make sure that the floor is suitable for bat-
tery removal.
–
Switch off the key switch.
