Pneumatic tyres (variant)
–
Check the tread depth on all four tyres.
The tread depth for pneumatic tyres (variant)
must be at least 1.6 mm at every point on the
tread. If the tread is worn down to the wear
mark (2) at any point on the tyre, replace the
tyres on one axle.
–
Remove any foreign bodies embedded in
the tyre.
Checking the air pressure
NOTE
The correct air pressure for pneumatic tyres
(variant) is determined by the type of tyre
used. The air pressure measured must corre-
spond to the manufacturer's information.
–
Observe the air pressure value indicated on
the adhesive label (1) on the truck.
–
Check the air pressure of all four tyres and
compare with the air pressure values stated
on the adhesive labels.
–
Add or release air as required if the air
pressure deviates from the values stated.
