Opening the LPG tank shut-off valve
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to escaping
LPG!
Escaping LPG may explode when
exposed to ignition sources and cause
serious accidents.
– Do not smoke or use a naked
flame/lighter.
– LPG tank shut-off valves (variant)
should only be opened in well-
ventilated areas and not near
openings in the floor.
– Observe the safety regulations for
working with LPG; see ⇒ Chap-
– Check whether the smell of gas is evident.
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to escaping
LPG!
Do not start the engine if a leak or
smell of gas or other such indications
are evident. Do not start the engine.
– Contact your STILL service centre.
– Check if the hose (1) is securely connected
to the LPG tank.
DANGER
Risk of explosion from spark dis-
charge!
Striking tools must not be used for
opening and closing.
WARNING
LPG can cause frostbite on the skin!
– Always wear protective gloves.
CAUTION
Opening quickly can lead to the system icing over.
– Open the shut-off valve (2) by slowly turning it to
the "OPEN" position.
