Checking the driver's seat

WARNING

Risk of injury!
– After an accident, check the driver's seat with

attached restraining belt and fastening.

– Check the controls for correct operation.
– Check the condition of the seat (e.g. wear

on the upholstery) and secure fastening to

the hood.

WARNING

Risk of injury!
– Have the seat repaired by the service centre if

you identify any damage during the checks.

Checking the door latch

– Inspect the condition of the catch bolt and

check for wear.

– Check the lock mechanism for easy opera-

tion.

Replacing the recirculated air ﬁlter

for the heating system

The recirculated air ﬁlter for the heating

system is located on the right-hand side of the

cab, underneath the heating system panelling

(1).
– Unscrew the screws (2) and remove the

heating system panelling.

– Completely remove the ﬁlter mat (3) from

the ﬁlter housing.

– Check the ﬁlter mat for contamination and

beat out.

NOTE

Replace the ﬁlter mat when it is clearly grey,

but at least every two months.

– Remove any dirt that has collected in the

ﬁlter housing and recirculated-air inlet.
