4.5.1 Establishing the machine-battery connection
The connection between the batteries and the sweeper is
separated for reasons of transport safety. This connection must be
restored prior to initial operation. First, the hopper must be
removed (1-3) to obtain access to the main cover fastener (4). By
pulling the main cover fastener to the left and front (in the driving
direction, 5), it can be released from the bracket. The opening of
the side door (6) is now possible and provides access to the
interior of the machine. This is where the separated battery
connection is located (7). The detached red battery connector
must now be connected to the permanently mounted red battery
connector (8-9), in order to connect the batteries to the sweeper.
Subsequently, the side door must be closed (10) and secured with
the main cover fastener (11). Now place the hopper into the
sweeper once again (12) and lock it into place (13).
