Coated cookware and cookware with an induction base belongs in the dishwasher only in
exceptional cases because the aggressive cleaning agents can penetrate into the smallest
scratches in the coatings, and destroy it over time. Induction bases will particularly corrode
and in the worst case scenario can even peel off the cookware. Thanks to the “Easy Clean
Effect”, we recommend to simply wipe out the cookware with a cloth and hot water or clean
by hand with a small amount of a mild detergent.
Do not put the pressure cooker lid and the silicone gasket in the dishwasher but only clean
them by hand.
Please never use steel wool or abrasive scouring agents to clean. If food particles are stuck,
loosen them by soaking or boiling briefly.
8. Mounting of the steam control valve and handles
Steam control valve (3):
For removal turn the screw inside the lid counter-
clockwise. Now you can pull the steam control valve
out upwards manually. For mounting place the steam
control valve into the proper position in the lid and
tighten it firmly.
Handles (2 + 7 + 8):
Tighten the screws from time to time.
9. Storage and maintenance
Storage of the silicone gasket:
The silicone gasket should be stored in a dark (protected from sunlight and UV radiation), dry
and clean place.
Tip: The silicone gasket will last longer if you place the lid with inserted gasket upside down
on top of the cooker after cleaning.
Maintenance:
The parts of the pressure cooker that are subject to wear must be replaced regularly.
The statutory warranty is limited to normal use (non-commercial use).
It does not cover damage caused by misuse/ improper use, like for example:
- Damage caused by neglect, remaining oil/ fat on the hob and bottom of the pot
- Damage due to overheating or boiling dry (formation of tar)
- Damage due to scratching with unsuitable cooking utensils made of metal such as
pointed or sharp-edged knives, forks, mixers or blenders
- Damage from abrasive cleaners in dishwashers
10. Questions and answers:
Important: Always turn off the stove and let the pressure cooker cool down before you
attempt to eliminate a problem.

These cooking times are guidelines. As form and nature of the same food can vary, the cooking times can
change from time to time. Example: You want to cook 500 g potatoes. As a guidline for potatoes you can
use a ratio of 2 to 3, e.g. you add 750 ml of water. Do not fill the pressure cooker to more than 2/3 of its
capacity. The cooking times depend on your own personal taste. However you should rather boil the food
less than too much, because excessively cooked food never becomes crisp again. Therefore choose shorter
cooking times until you got familiar to the pressure cooker. Subsequent cooking is easily done.
