Measuring
values unrea-
listic
The sensor for the
ambient tempe-
rature has not yet
adapted to a tem-
perature change.
Wait until the mea-
surement value of
the air temperature
has stabilised.
Infrared mea-
surement at
longer distance
unrealistic
A greater measu-
ring range results
at an increasing
distance on account
of the infrared sen-
sor's beam spread.
Reduce the distance
of the sensor to the
object.
Sensor is not
detected
Communication
error
Disconnect the
sensor and recon-
nect it after a few
seconds.
Measuring
instrument not
responding/dis-
play frozen
Communication
error
Disconnect the
sensor, remove the
batteries from the
HPM touch pro
and reinsert the
batteries.
Measurements at high air humidity (above 80 % rel.
humidity) should be avoided, as potential condensation will
distort the conductivity measurment.
If the temperature of the measured building material is below
the dew point temperature, there is a risk of condensation
distorting the conductivity measurement.
