Guidance for use and maintenance of the Cover Quick
®
Wall
Always make sure that the assembled elements are always securely set aside and / or fixed! Loose and / or not fixed
elements may cause a risk of collapse.
Caution with suspended ceilings! Installation may not be possible because the ceiling profiles and the pressure exerted
by the telescopic supports can damage the ceiling structure and / or not may not be installed in a stable enough way.
Before installation please check the properties and the sensitivity of the surfaces (walls, floor and ceiling)! Despite the
soft and colourless rubber seals we assume no liability for any surface damages. For good measure please check the
reaction to the pressure of the rubber seals on an invisible spot by placing a profile with the seal side on the surface,
applying some pressure and rubbing over the surface.
If the surfaces or the mounting parts installed there, such as cables, heating pipes etc. are very uneven, it may happen
that the unevenness is too great and that the dust cover system cannot be installed with appropriate tightness.
Always make sure that all parts and mounting elements are not damaged and work perfectly. If one of the elements is
broken or lost, you can re-order it using the article number provided above.
Clean the profiles including seals after each use with a damp cloth. Thus you ensure secure adhesion of the adhesive
tapes on the profile surface and avoid any soiling of the wall, ceiling and floor surfaces during installation.
Also make sure to clean the telescopic supports and their supporting plates in order to ensure a secure fit at all times.
Avoid contact of lubricants of any kind with the clamping device on the clamping lever. This way the clamping force
might be reduced.
