The device is delivered in a transport and storage case:
- Open the case and remove the device.
- Do not use the cutting bow (no. 6) to remove the device from the case.
- Grasp the device by the base plate (no. 1) and remove it from the case.
Transfer the device to the installation location on the scaffolding and set it carefully on the lower large black set screw
(no. 2) for the cutting bow. Open the locking bolt (no. 3) for the scaffold mount on the rear of the device and mount it in
the upper section of the backrest.
The transformer (no. 4) now butts against the padded surface on the lower scaffold section of the backrest. Screw the
locking bolt (no. 3) firmly in position on the scaffold mount. Proceed in the same way when using the release aid, art. no.
57 00 16, available in the accessories (see page 38, figure 6). This allows the device to be used free standing or on the
frame leaning against the house wall. Make sure the device is mounted securely and at the correct position.
Subsequently loosen the upper set screw (no. 5) and the lower set screw (no. 2) for the cutting bow (no. 6); open this fully
and then retighten the set screws (no. 2 and no. 5).
Loosen the set screw (no. 7) of the bearing rail (no. 8), fold it out fully to the right and then retighten the set screw (no.
7). The bearing rail (no. 8) is now located at a 90° angle to the cutting wire.
Now insert the mains plug for the transformer (no. 4) into the power socket (230 V). The device is operational when the
On/Off switch (no. 9) on the transformer is switched on and illuminated.
