3.2.7 TRIM CONTROL
(A&P)
The push buttons on the STICK GRIP control the electric actuator RAY ALLEN 6A of the trim,
transmitting the requested control to the Trim on the Stabilator and, if provided for, to the flattener
tab on the Rudder.
The red push button of the handgrip is used for radio communications (PTT)
The black button is used for the Stabilator trim

Pushing forward = aircraft nose down
•
Pushing backward = aircraft nose up
Two STICK GRIPS are mounted on the aircraft for pilot and co-pilot.
The aircraft attitude can be adjusted with both systems simply pushing the buttons on the STICK
GRIP.
REMOVAL
The electric actuator is installed in the under skin of the RH Stabilator
Remove the screws from the cover.
Turn the cover upside down to reach the wirings
Remove the electric connector
Remove hinge rod (mark its position)
INSTALLATION
Invert removal sequence.
Make sure that the guides of the lower part perfectly fit with the upper part guides without forcing
them and that wirings are not squashed.
