PRESENTATION AND INSTALLATION GUIDE – SN RANGE
PRESENTATION OF "SN" MODELS
Fiber Ethernet connectors
These Ethernet ports are available by default on SN900 appliances and numbered 13 and 14, as well as on
SN910 and numbered 9 and 10. On SN910, SN2000, SN3000 and SN6000 models, Ethernet fiber connectors
can be added by inserting extension modules. In both cases it is necessary to install a transceiver. This
transceiver is in SFP format for 1Gbps connections or SFP+ for 1Gbps/10Gbps connections.
For more information, refer to the section
Connecting to the network
in the chapter INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS.
LEDs
The LEDs indicate the following information:
-
SN900 and SN910 models equipped with SFP transceivers (in Ethernet fiber ports available by
default): a green LED lights up when the link is established and blinks according to the volume of
the traffic.
-
SN910, SN2000 and SN3000 models equipped with a 1Gbps extension module and SFP
transceivers: a green LED lights up when the link is established and blinks according to the
volume of the traffic.
-
SN6000 model equipped with 1Gbps extension modules and SFP transceivers:
