Installation – Under A Worktop
Refer to FIG 1 for the dimensional requirements.
Where the appliance is installed under a worktop,
with a hob installed above it, the installation
instructions for the hob must be read in conjunc-
tion with these instructions.
When installing a gas hob above the appliance, care
must be taken to ensure the hob inlet pipe is as close to
the back wall as possible, so it doesn’t obstruct the appli-
ance or the appliance inlet pipe. If a flexible inlet pipe is
used, it must hang vertically and not be trapped between
the oven and rear wall.
If the hob protrudes below the worktop you may have to
lower the oven to compensate.
Remove the fixing screws from the polythene bag, but
leave the appliance in the base tray packaging until you
are ready to install it.
Note:
When removing the appliance from the base tray
packaging care should be taken not to damage the appli-
ance, follow lifting instructions in the “Before you start”
section.
1. This appliance is intended for installation between two
cabinets, the gap between the cabinets should be a mini-
mum of 600mm.
2. Two wooden batens (not supplied) should be secured at
the front of each cabinet (see FIG.1), the gap between
the two batens should be 558-568mm.
3. The two metal brackets supplied with the product should
be secured to each cabinet side, with the long edge pro-
truding out, at a distance of 720mm below the worktop
(see FIG.1), these are for supporting the appliance.
4. The appliance is slid into position on the two brackets
and secured to the wooden batens using the screws sup-
plied.
