General Safety Instruc-
tions
When installing, starting-up and operating the
machine, always observe the following safety
instructions:

Suitable Personnel
CAUTION:
A defective machine can lead to malfunctions!
On detection of damage or a functional defect of
the machine:

Label the machine as defective.
▷
Prevent further operation until the machine
has been repaired.
NOTE:
Possible machine damage through insufficient
extraction during dry processing!
▷
Operate the machine only with the extraction
system recommended by the manufacturer or
another compatible extraction system (see
page 49).
NOTE:
Possible machine damage through insufficient
cooling during grinding operations!
▷
For grinding operations, operate the machine
only with the supply unit specifically intended
for it.
NOTE:
Damage through escaping coolant/lubricant!
▷
Regularly check the coolant/lubricant connec-
tion for tightness against leaks.
NOTE:
▷
Switch the machine off when not in use or
unsupervised for longer periods, e.g., over-
night. This method of saving electrical energy
also benefits the environment.
NOTE:
Starting-up and operation of the machine may
only be carried out by trained specialised per-
sonnel.
