6.1
Switching between wet and dry processing
The milling machine can be used both for wet and
dry processing.
In delivery condition, it is set up for dry process-
ing.

▷
Disengage lever [2] and pull off the white
extraction hood [1] toward the front.
▷
Connect the extraction hose to the extraction
opening in the milling chamber.
▷
With the door open, briefly press service button
[B] on the front side of the milling machine.
The extraction starts.
▷
Vacuum out the milling chamber.
When the milling chamber is clean:
▷
Press service button [B] again.
The extraction stops.
▷
Pull off the extraction hose.
▷
Insert the cleaned swarf sieve [3].
The wide side faces toward the rear.
▷
Check if the outlet holes of the C/L nozzles are
unobstructed.
▷
Check if the door gasket is clean and free of
swarf/chips.

For wet processing, it is mandatory to use
the swarf sieve [3]. The sieve serves as the
first coolant/lubricant stage for coarse
particles.
