iRecord Music can be powered via the 5V DC power adapter or the battery cap. An
ON-OFF switch on the battery cap controls the power to the iRecord Music. When
attached to a computer iRecord Music draws power from the computer, like any
standard USB flash drive.
Typical operation time of iRecord Music per battery charge is 2+ hours. Any
recording should be stopped when the battery is low, indicated by red blinking of
the warning LED. The battery can be recharged using the provided 5V DC power
adapter. An LED on the battery cap indicates charging state of the battery, with
RED indicating battery being charged & GREEN indicating when it is fully charged.

To be able to record directly to external USB devices, such as iPhone, iPod etc., iRecord Music must be powered via the 5V DC power adapter. The
recommended usage of iRecord Music, when powered by battery cap, is for recording to internal flash memory, or for play back.

Not all models support this feature. User may have to stop recording manually near the two-hours point or the unit may
shut-off automatically.
