Installation Instructions

Thank you for purchasing a STREAMLINE® Water Filtration System

The 600GPD-F-CLK filtration system is very efficient at purifying water and is simple to install and

maintain. It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that this appliance is plumbed in accordance with the
local authoriy’s by-law regulations.

Your water filtration system has been assembled and tested to ensure that there are no leaks.

Set Up

Prefilter Replacement

•

Connect the filtration system to the mains
water supply via the inlet connection

•

If an optional 12mm hosetail is being used,
remove the existing elbow and simply screw
this fitting into the filter.

•

Connect the water supply hose to this fitting
and secure it with a jubilee clamp.

•

Connect the inlet hose to the mains
water supply.
Alternatively a Hozelock-type connection
kit can be purchased to simplify the hose
connection. (Part No. Brass KIT01600 or
Nylon KIT01601).

•

Cut and connect a suitable length of 1/4”
tube to the waste water connection, which is
marked DRAIN

•

Discharge it into the nearest suitable drain.

•

Cut and connect a length of 3/8” tube from
the connection marked FAUCET to the pure
water collection tank.

•

Identify the small RO plug which is packaged
in each RO membrane bag.

•

VERY IMPORTANT

 - insert this plug into the

notched side of the centre white tube of
each membrane.

•

Remove the cap on the left hand side of the
front RO housing and insert the blue RO
membrane with the large black rubber seal
towards the open end of the housing.

•

Before attempting pre-filter change, ensure
that the water supply has been turned off .

•

Remove the three pre-filters by unscrewing
them anticlockwise and fit new filters by
reversing the procedure.

•

After the pre-filters have been replaced,
we recommend that they be flushed, as
described earlier, until all visible impurities
have disappeared.

•

Screw the end cap of the membrane housing
in place and refit the inlet tube.

•

Remove the cap of the second rear RO
housing and repeat the process.

•

Temporarily remove the tube on the inlet
connection of the RO filter housing Turn the
water supply on, allowing the water to flush
through the first three vertical filters for 2-3
minutes, until all visible impurities
have disappeared.

•

Turn the water supply off.

•

Turn the water supply on and test the
system for leaks. (Allow the system to run
for approximately 15-20 minutes for the TDS
reading of the pure water to drop to a
realistic figure).
