GAS BOTTLE CONNECTION
- Only a certified regulator (37 mbar) as well as a 60 cm long gas hose may be used with the device (under
no circumstances may a hose longer than 1 m be used).

- Connect the other end of the gas hose to the regulator and secure it with a metal clamp.
- Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder and tighten the connection with an adjustable wrench.
- Slowly open the gas valve and perform a leak test. Place the bottle on the stand.
TIGHTNESS TEST
- The leak test must be carried out in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
- Check that the gas valve actuator is in the off position. Open the gas valve on the bottle and check for
leaks by applying a solution of 1/2 water and 1/2 soap to all gas system connections.
- For the leak test NEVER USE OPEN FIRE.
- If bubbles form on any joint, a leak occurs. Switch off the gas supply and tighten all connections and
repeat the test.
- If the bubbles still form, do not use the patio heater. Contact an authorized service center for assistance.
