- Apply as little solder as possible.
- Try to establish the connection as soon as possible.
SIGNS OF CORRECT AND INCORRECT JOINT
- Perfect joint is smooth and shiny. The edges of the joint are adhered well to the metal.
- If the solidified tin has a tear shape, the solder was insufficiently heated.
- If the tin is matt and slightly porous or crystalline, you probably moved the joint during cooling.
- If too little tin remained on the joint, the solder was either not sufficiently melted or too hot.
- If the tin is yellow or black, too much solder paste was used, or the tin solder core was too hot during
soldering. This should be avoided especially when soldering electronic circuits, as most acid solder pastes
are corrosive, which reduces the service life of the circuit.
MAINTENANCE
- Proper maintenance is essential to maintain the original efficiency and operational safety of the equipment.
- WARNING!
Before performing any inspection or maintenance, turn off the device and disconnect it from
the power source to prevent it from accidentally starting and causing possible injury.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the machine. Never use cleaning agents or solvents such as petrol, alcohol,
ammonia, etc.! These solvents can damage the plastic parts of the product.
- If the unit is damaged, contact an authorized service center.
REPLACING THE SOLDERING TIP:
- Disconnect the transformer solder gun from the power supply.
- Loosen the screws to fix the tip.
- Remove the old soldering tip.
- Insert the new soldering tip and tighten the screws until the heat transfer contact is tight.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on products or accompanying documents means that
the electrical and electronic products used must not be added to the normal municipal
waste. For proper disposal, renewal and recycling, deliver these products to the designated
collection points, where they will be accepted free of charge. Alternatively, in some
countries you can return your products to a local retailer when buying an equivalent new
product. The proper disposal of this product will help preserve valuable natural resources
and help prevent potential negative impacts on the environment and human health, which
could be the consequences of improper waste disposal. For further details, contact your local authority or
nearest collection point. The improper disposal of this type of waste may result in fines being imposed in
accordance with national rules.
