INSTALLATION GUIDE
SERVICE INTERVALS / LANDLORD FUNCTION
It is a requirement for every landlord to service their heating equipment
every 12 months. Strom have included a countdown function that reminds
the user to arrange the service, and where service is overdue the function
of the heating system can be restricted until the system has been serviced
and the counter reset. This function is set as off by default and must be
enabled.
To access the landlord functions of the controller ensure the “
FUNCTION
SLIDER
” is in the “
OFF
” position and simply press and hold for 5 seconds
the “
HOME SELECTOR
” & “
COPY SELECTOR
” .
The landlord function is password protected for security purposes, and you
will be asked for the “CODE”. By default this is
1234
which we recommend
the installer changes and passes on to the landlord/building owner.
To enter the code use the “
ADJUSTMENT SELECTORS
” , using the “
DAY
SELECTOR
” to move to the next digit. once the code has been entered
press the “
NEXT SELECTOR
” to confirm. Below is a description of the
functions and what they do.
To cycle through the options please use the “
NEXT SELECTOR
”, you can
amend the options using the “
ADJUSTMENT SELECTORS
”. When entering

Enabling the service function
The controller will display

Select either yes or no to either enable or disable the function.
Enabling the service phone number
The controller will display

Select either yes or no to either enable or disable the function. Press

NEXT SELECTOR
”, the controller will now display
AREA,
using the

ADJUSTMENT SELECTORS
” and “
DAY SELECTOR
” enter the area code for
the phone number. Press the “
NEXT SELECTOR
” again and the controller
will show
TELE
, again using the “
ADJUSTMENT SELECTORS
” and “
DAY
SELECTOR
” enter the telephone number you wish the user to call for
service.
