Product definition
The clutch is a electromagnetically operated multi-disc clutch for the connection and disconnection of a power
flux in the form of a torque transmission. The clutch is designed as a hub clutch and is not suitable for the con-
nection of two shafts.
Areas of application:
• Drive systems, in particular in machine tools, textile, construction and packaging machines.
Typical properties:
• Small dimensions - high torque
• Torque transmission through frictional engagement between input and output sides
• Low residual torque when open
• Disengagement possible under load and at speed
• Wet operation (oil splashes or oil mist) and dry operation possible
• Short switching times, accurate switching
• Low flywheel masses, high switching frequency
• Reasonable wear behaviour
Type of activity:
• The clutch runs on a working current
engage with direct current
release using spring force
