3.1 Basic connection using an HDMI cable
a. Connect the wall outlet of your cable signal provider to the CABLE IN connector of your receiver using a good
quality coax cable and suitable ‘IEC’ plugs.
b. Connect one end of a good quality HDMI cable to the HDMI output on your receiver and the other end to an
HDMI input of your TV.
c. Connect the supplied power adapter to the receiver at the power supply input. Then plug the power adapter to
a suitable wall outlet.
3.2 Alternatively: Basic connection using a Scart cable

a. Connect the wall outlet of your cable signal provider to the CABLE IN connector of your receiver using a good
quality coax cable and suitable ‘IEC’ plugs.
b. Connect one end of a good quality Scart cable to the TV SCART connector on your receiver and the other end to
the SCART input of your TV.
c. Connect the supplied power adapter to the receiver at the power supply input. Then plug the power adapter to
a suitable wall outlet.
3.3 Connecting to digital audio amplifier

Connect one end of a good quality HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your receiver and the other end to an HDMI input
of your home theatre or digital amplifier. Connect a second HDMI cable to the output of the home theatre or digital
amplifier to an HDMI input of your TV. Be sure to select the appropriate HDMI input on the home theatre or digital
amplifier to loop the video through to the TV.
