4. Operation and use
4.1. Preparation for operation
Before starting to use the trailer you must check the following points:
Condition and pressure in tyres
Tightening nuts of wheels and drawbar towing eyelet
Efficiency of lighting and signaling system of the trailer
Functioning of braking system
Functioning of hydraulic installation.
4.2. Connecting to the tractor
Connect the trailer only with tractor equipped with hitch that has at least 3500 kg of
vertical load capacity.
When HookLoada trailer is in position of transportation, the force on coupling point is
downward.
When HookLoada trailer is in position of loading the container, the force on coupling
point is upward.
In order to connect trailer with the tractor you must perform the following actions:
Set the towing eyelet at the proper height by means of telescopic or hydraulic
support leg.
Drive backwards with tractor and connect the HookLoada trailer towing eyelet
with hitch and fix it.
Lift up the telescopic or hydraulic support leg.
Connect electrical, braking and hydraulic system couplings to the tractor.
If trailer has the hydraulic pump, connect the PTO shaft. Ensure it is fixed
properly and all PTO shaft safety guards are in place.
Ensure the oil tank is filled with oil.
Remove any wedges from trailer wheels and release the handbrake.
DANGER!
Ensure nobody is staying between tractor and trailer during connection.
It is necessary that drawbar eye should be fixed properly.
