Please read this user guide carefully and observe the instructions before installing and operating 

your track humidifying system.

General

This user guide contains basic instructions to be followed during installation, operation and maintenance. 

It must therefore be read by installation staff and the responsible specialist personnel/plant operator before 

installation and initial start-up. It must always be kept in the same place as the system. As well as the gene

-

ral instructions contained in this “Safety instructions” section, please also pay attention to the special safety 

instructions included in the other sections.

Personnel qualification and training

The personnel in charge of operation, maintenance, inspection and installation must be properly qualified 

for this work.

Risks of non-compliance with the safety instructions

Non-compliance with these safety instructions can result in danger to personnel, to the environment and to 

the system. Failure to comply with the safety instructions may result in the loss of any claims for damages.

Safe working

The safety instructions set out in this user guide, the applicable national health and safety regulations and 

company work, operating and safety instructions must be observed.

Safety instructions for maintenance, inspection and installation work

The plant operator must ensure that all maintenance, inspection and installation work is carried out by autho-

rised and qualified specialist personnel who have been thoroughly briefed by studying the user guide.
The system must be stationary and switched off before any work is carried out. It is essential that the proce

-

dure for shutting down the system, described in the user guide, is complied with.
The system must be disconnected from the power for any maintenance work and a warning sign affixed to 

prevent it from being inadvertently restarted. The system must be checked to ensure it is no longer carrying 

voltage.

Unauthorised modification and production of spare parts

The system may only be converted or modified following consultation with STULZ. Original spare parts and 

parts/accessories approved by STULZ are a guarantee of safety. Use of different parts may void any liability 

for claims arising from any possible consequences.

Unauthorised operating practices

Safe operation of the system is only ensured if it is used in accordance with regulations and instructions. The 

limit values set out in the technical data must never be exceeded.
This symbol indicates special measures or dangers that must be noted.

Customer service

Customer service ensures optimum operating reliability through preventive service and maintenance work 

throughout the life of your system.
You can find out about your nearest customer service agent from the manufacturer of your system at any 

time.
