The barcode function and Wi-Fi option are both options that need to be activated before they
can be used.
The activation happens through our website (
www.summa.com/support/product-
). The serial number of the cutter is needed for this activation. The serial number
can be found on the serial number label on the back of the cutter or in the system setup menu.
It is recommended to get the serial number directly from within the system setup menu.
Step one: obtaining the serial number
1.
Power on the cutter.

Press the

3.
Write down the serial
number.
Step two: activation of the barcode
1.
Go to the webpage and register your cutter. The web page will show a 6 digit code which is
the activation code. A mail will be sent with the serial number and activation code. Please
save this mail for future reference.

Power on the machine and load the media.
