II. Assembling your awning
Prior to removing your awning from its packaging, we would recommend that you spread a mat
out on the ground next to the motorhome in order to avoid staining the fabric or piercing any
holes in it with stones or branches.
The information given below with regards to assembling your awning will make this operation
straightforward, including for novices. However, we would recommend that inexperienced
campers seek advice from one of our retailers.
Please ensure that your awning is placed on a flat surface in order to be able to fit it correctly. A sloping
ground could have an undesirable effect on your awning.
Check to make sure that the rail of your awning is clean and that there are no sharp edges, as these could
easily tear the fabric or damage the pipe on the awning.
You may now assemble your awning. This process will be easier if you work with a partner. Begin by
inserting the pipe into the rail of the caravan, with one of you pulling the awning into the pipe while the
other checks to make sure that the pipe is fully inserted into the rail.
As far as possible, position the awning in such a way that leaves room for any doors or windows.
